What does our Educator
Resource Center offer?
When are teacher workshops held?
We offer video dubbing services of over 400 NASA CORE videos in our possession. The cost is $5.00 per 2-hour video. This covers the cost of the blank tape and priority mail shipping. The ERC has a variety of free educational support materials provided by NASA (lesson plans, lithographs, and posters). Educators can also check out actual shuttle tiles and an EVA demonstration box for classroom use. CD-Rom workshops are offered every Thursday afternoon at the ERC. We also offer workshops for pre-service and in-service teachers throughout the year. Our greatest asset is our seven satellite centers located across the state to better serve Tennessee. We have centers in Dickson, Selmer, Memphis, Lenoir City, Chattanooga, Jamestown, and Kingsport. Visit the Events Calendar and look for items with the prefix “TN” which denotes workshops in Tennessee.
